The registration date for the
COMMANDER’s and PRESIDENT’s HOMECOMING on September 19, 2020 has been
extended to August 28, 2020.
There was some
confusion whether Post 10047’s location was in the Governor’s "Red Zone”,
and/or if we would be exceeding the "no more than 50” rule. This has been
determined to be an event that will involve the use of the food
establishment facilities of Post 10047 per the Governor’s Directive
029. That would place the limitations at 50% of fire rated
capacity. This means the front section would be limited to 62, and the
back to 120, or a total of 182. However, the condition of the social
distancing setup can determine the actual numbers acceptable. Masks will
be required except when drinking/eating. To confirm the attending
numbers, social distancing, and overall conditional set up, the Post invited
the Health Department to conduct a walk thru, and provided guidance to remain

Please join Department Commander Henry "Butch" Beltran and Department Auxiliary President Saundra Marshall in celebrating with the members of the Department and Auxiliary. There will be good food, good friends, and a good time to be had. Post 12119 will be the host for the event and it will be held at the Veterans Hall at Post 10047 in Las Vegas on September 19, 2020 at 5:00pm. There will be a COA meeting prior at 1:00pm.
